Abstract
The Study develops a framework and set of social, economic and environmental indicators that aid in understanding how some 'cotton communities' are performing against relevant state and national benchmarks. The first part of the study, reported in the Information Paper (CARE 2009), provides more straightforward measures of the contribution of cotton to regional economies.
