This report arises from a scoping brief presented to the author on 19th May 1995. The brief r required an overview of the R&D Program currently being conducted under the management of Dr Nick Schofield of the Land & Water Resources R&D Corporation and jointly established by that body, the Cotton R&D Corporation and the Murray Darling Basin Commission.
