This project funding supported two workshops held in the Upper Namoi area; one in Spring Ridge, and one in Boggabri.

Fertiliser is commonly spread in a typical cotton farming system and evidence suggests that the spreaders being used have not been calibrated properly meaning that these machines are not operating at maximum efficienc

Risk is ever-present in Australian agriculture. It is not a new issue for farm businesses and has in fact often been the driver for new ideas, innovation and change.

This course has given me skills to continue in my role as workforce co-ordinator for Cotton Australia.
