The cotton industry's Best Management Practices (BMPP) program was released in late 1997. An industry commitment was made to have 100 percent grower adoption of BMP by the 30th June 2001.

Objective of the project To deliver a BMP implementation program that leads to attainment of the industry commitment of having 100% of cotton growers audit ready by June 31st 2001.
