The results of annual disease surveys in both NSW and Queensland continue to provide useful data on the distribution, incidence and importance of diseases of cotton in Australia. Plant pathologists at Narrabri, Brisbane, Toowoomba, Armidale, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney are continuing to investigate the relationships between the host, the pathogens and the environment and are continuing to develop and promote strategies for disease control.
